Professional career
I began my professional career after studying psychology at the Charité, Universitätsmedizin Berlin. After working for over ten years in the clinical psychiatric/psychotherapeutic field and in clinical research, I founded a psychotherapy practice and a university training institute for the training of psychotherapists in Berlin. This was followed by further training in coaching and couples therapy. In 2015, I was awarded an adjunct professorship at the Free University of Berlin, Chair of Clinical Psychotherapy, and founded a medical care center for the treatment of patients with mental illnesses.
In my many years of professional experience as a psychological psychotherapist, professor and supervisor, in addition to the clinical view of complaints, understanding patients in their life situations and social contexts of friends, relationships, family and work relationships has remained an important part of my work. Over the past 20 years, I have met and supported many very different people. I am happy to dedicate my time to your issues and problems and to contribute my experience.
