Psychological psychotherapist
I am a qualified special education teacher and a licensed child and adolescent psychotherapist specializing in behavioral therapy. I offer psychotherapeutic support in coping with crises or stressful phases of life. It is important to me to focus on the resources of the patient and their family and to work together to develop possible solutions and individual coping strategies. I view behavioral therapy as a tool for self-help, meaning that patients and their families learn to resolve their problems independently over time (“self-management”).
It's very important to me to build a pleasant therapeutic relationship. Through the greatest possible transparency, appreciation, and a structured approach, I create trust and guidance. I want the children and young people to enjoy coming to see me. Despite all the problems and stresses, therapy should also be enjoyable.
In addition to traditional behavioral therapy methods, I use mindfulness-based, experiential, and systemic elements in my work. To ensure my treatment is based on the latest scientific findings and to achieve positive results, I regularly attend continuing education courses. I treat children and adolescents of all ages, as well as their families, with the entire spectrum of mental illnesses. My particular focus is on the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders.
